Ghulam Moinuddin Khanji

[edit]

Created by Royroydeb (talk). Self-nominated at 06:57, 5 April 2019 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: All points check out, and the image is licenced for India, although I think perhaps it ought also to have something to say why it is in the public domain in the US. The meaning of "represented India" is a little obscure, the source says the Khan played hockey for All India at the Western Asiatic Games, but that is within the meaning of the hook, so this is ready to go, if the image is acceptable. • Royroydeb, there is nothing wrong with your hook, but if you could come up with an ALT that mentions hockey, that might create more interest. Please alert me here if you have something else for me to approve, and perhaps you would also see what can be done about the licensing of the image? Moonraker (talk) 14:41, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
@Moonraker: The image is in public domain
  • ALT1 is cited and can be used. Royroydeb, my point is that the one tag on the image says it may not be in the public domain outside India. I think it is less likely to be used if you can't add a US license for it. Moonraker (talk) 17:11, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
@Moonraker: I have now removed it .RRD (talk) 16:57, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
