- Article is new enough and long enough. It's neutral and well referenced. Removed refs from lead as they are duplicated in the body. No copyvios or close paraphrasing detected. Hook is too complicated and should be revised to state that she was the first African-American policewoman (or black female police officer) in the U.S. or in L.A. if that is the claim. Not all the sources are sure she was the first African-American policewoman in the U.S. Pistols and Petticoats state she was "likely the first black policewoman on a city force". New York Police Museum state it was Cora I. Parchment in 1919, the same year Robinson officially became an officer. Philafrenzy (talk) 08:35, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks @Philafrenzy:. I thought she was first because the NYPD appointmentwas mentioned in a September issue of The Crisis - but turns out she was appointed in May a few weeks before Georgia. I've fixed that throughout the page, and drafted an ALT1.Hildabast (talk) 17:08, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
Struck the first and tweeked the Alt. I think losing her sight is unnecessary really. Do you want to remove that bit? Short and simple is better. Image is very strong and this would make a good picture hook. I also removed the year as it is evidently an historical bio with that picture. Put it back if you like. - Yes, I'm happy for the injury to be removed - thanks @Philafrenzy:.Hildabast (talk) 00:00, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
- Done, hope it will make a good picture hook. Philafrenzy (talk) 00:05, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
