  • There are three conflicting dates in the article: it isn't clear whether his tenure as DA for Massachusetts ended in 1882 or 1886, whether the Mass. Court of Common Pleas was abolished in 1859 or 1869 (see the first source) and whether he left John Hancock in 1863 or 1873. (See [1]). Hold until these are addressed.
  • I fixed some of the citation formatting. Furthermore, the inline citation for his editorships covered the Law Reporter, but not the Statutes. I found a reference to cover the latter.
  • The hook is marginal, but not awful, in terms of interest. Admittedly, it's hard to come up with a punchy line for this sort of character; it's about the best that can be managed.
  • This isn't strictly a DYK requirement, but the article suffers somewhat from proseline. Add some transitions and some background. What is the significance of the publications Sanger edited? Why not mention that his youngest son was a distinguished chemistry professor? Choess (talk) 02:45, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
