Fork-marked lemur

[edit]

Fork-marked lemur

5x expanded by Maky (talk). Self nominated at 06:23, 16 December 2014 (UTC).

  • about 70 words under a 5x expansion but considering whether it is worth waiving given the overall size of the article (OTOH can we add any more info?). Hook cited and true to source - article neutral. I'll review this for GAN and complete there. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 23:55, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the review. I'm actually planning to add more today, assuming other things don't sidetrack me. But regardless, I thought the rules specify that expansion is counted using a character count, not a word count? If so, according to my count, the article has been expanded very slightly past 5x, whether you count spaces or not. But like I said, I'll be adding more today if that helps. – Maky « talk » 18:31, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
Cool - will keep an eye on it. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 20:29, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
@Casliber: I'm finished adding material to the article. As I noted previously, the character count was probably fine, though admitted close before. However, even the word count will be clearly over 5x for the expansion. If you have any concerns, let me know. – Maky « talk » 01:54, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
5x expansion ok. hook reffed. material neutral. offline sources accepted in good faith. article faithful to online material seen. One bit of wording tweaked - no other close paraphrasing seen on spotchecking. good to go. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 11:43, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
If anyone has any lingering concerns about the 5x expansion, then please note that the article just passed as a new GA, making it eligible under that. – Maky « talk » 02:13, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
