Ed Krupp
[edit]- ... that Ed Krupp (pictured) has been director of Griffith Observatory for more than half of its existence? Source: "The whimsical nod to ancient beliefs about the blood moon lunar eclipse was led by L.A.’s biggest showman of the stars, Krupp, who has been director of the planet’s most popular observatory for 40 of its almost 80 years." 5x expanded by Shortsword (talk). Self-nominated at 17:29, 31 March 2017 (UTC).
- @Shortsword: This substantial article is a fivefold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The hook is interesting and is cited inline to a reliable source. The image is appropriately licensed and the article is neutral. Using "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" I checked for close paraphrasing and was concerned by a few instances, particularly in the first paragraph of the "Archaeoastronomy" section. When these are sorted out, this should be ready to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:04, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" is an amazing tool. My only regret is that I wish I could have used it on the page while it was still in my sandbox. That would have eliminated the many many additions to the edit history of the page that I just made. Would you be so kind as to have another look and see if I have managed to eliminate your concerns. And thank you very much for your efforts. Shortsword (talk) 19:00, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- I am satisfied with your alterations. This is now good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:16, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: Again, my thanks for your efforts.
