Distinguished Service to Music Medal

  • New enough, long enough, adequate citations. However, the hook fact needs to be sourced in the article. Yoninah (talk) 23:28, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Added source for the information in the quotation marks. I've sourced the awardees (the two sources at the bottom of the list, since I didn't know how best to cite that) and am under the impression that simply counting up the number of awardees is trivial and therefore WP:CK? • I don't understand what you're saying. Per DYK's Cited hook rule, you need a reference next to the quote in the article, and a reference next to the fact that it has been awarded 137 times since 1964 in the article. If you don't have a source that specifically says 137 winners, you need to cite the various sources that add up to 137 winners. Yoninah (talk) 10:54, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
  • I have already done that. Citations 3 and 4 add up to 137 awardees when you count the number of awardees from both sources. Sycamore (talk) 19:16, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I moved up the cites into an opening line for the section, and also added a cite to the quote you're using in your hook. Hook refs verified. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:04, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
