Dick Attlesey

- Not ok. The sentence "Following the metric standardization of events by the International Amateur Athletic Association, the 110-meter hurdles was held for the first time at the AAU Championships and Attlesey became the first U.S. champion over the distance with a world record time of 13.6 seconds" is not referenced, and that sentence is the basis for part of the hook. - You're entirely right, I've no idea how I came to that conclusion in the first place as standardisation occurred much earlier in 1932 (??!). Now corrected and changing the hook. SFB 18:03, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
