David Martin Long

[edit]
  • ... that convicted murderer David Martin Long was on life support two days before he was executed? Source: See this NYT article - "Doctors in Galveston placed him on life support and found themselves in the odd situation of trying to restore to good health a man with only two days left to live."
  • Reviewed: Neri Oxman
  • Comment: I'm finding it awkward to place all of this information in a single sentence within the article, but the hook is the overall idea behind what happened leading up to Long's execution, and I think the NYT source and others support it. Suggestions welcome.

  • Long enough, created on March 12, not 11, so timely nominated, all paragraphs are referenced. Hook is short and interesting, the hook facts occur in the article. QPQ review done. Earwig complains about the last words, but they are a direct quote. The main sources have been sufficiently reworded. This one is good to go. --Pgallert (talk) 19:27, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
