Dario Fo

[edit]

Dario Fo in Milan

  • ... that the Vatican has accused Dario Fo (pictured) of being responsible for "the most blasphemous show in the history of television"?
  • Comment: This Nobel Prize-winning bio has been expanded and sourced a great deal in recent days so I wonder if it has a place here? Before / Now

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by 86.40.103.168 (talk). Self nominated at 02:53, 25 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Unfortunately, the expansion isn't actually enough for DYK. By my count, before the expansion there were 10981 characters, to 34676 characters now, for a 3.15x expansion. The 2x criterion applies only to Biographies of Living Persons which were previously unreferenced, and this article did have seven refs. For DYK, this would need to go to a 5x expansion, which is unlikely. For articles in this situation, WP:Good Articles is usually a better venue to promote the article. (By the way, a 3x expansion for an article of this length is very impressive) Chris857 (talk) 02:24, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Per Chris857, this simply isn't a 5x expansion, and there have been no further attempts to expand the article since the above was posted. Absent a major additional expansion, alas, there's nothing to do but close the nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:49, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
