Danger By Design (TV show)
[edit]- ... that during an episode of Nik Wallenda: Beyond Niagara, tightrope walker Nik Wallenda (pictured) hung from a helicopter using only his jaw?
- Reviewed: Nicolaus Ricii de Nucella Campli and Matt Cain's perfect game
- Comment: Nik Wallenda also meets the DYK criteria, but was recently featured on WP:ITN. That article is currently a good article nominee, so if the reviewer of this DYK is interested in the subject, comments for improvement on that article are welcome. (But, don't feel obligated to even read that article if not interested.)

- Someone renamed' it into Nik Wallenda: Beyond Niagara. --George Ho (talk) 04:53, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- As mentioned on talk about another article, the current hook could be viewed as promotional or a form of advertising for the show. I suggest focusing on a past episode or another facet of the show instead of something that hasn't happened yet. Froggerlaura ribbit 13:04, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- Scratch that, the finale already happened, so changed the tense of the hook to make it less promotional. Will do a full review in a bit. Froggerlaura ribbit 16:19, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Given that the show is now cancelled, the article need restructuring. I can't find a reference to prove the episode referenced in the hook was even aired. Other episode summaries are based on sources created before airing of the episodes. Creation date, length okay, advertising aspect now rendered moot by cancellation. Photo license is okay. Paraphrasing looks okay. Just need a ref to support airing/helicopter stunt occurred or Alt hook. Froggerlaura ribbit 07:06, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- The stunt certainly occurred (the show was filmed 2+ years ago) and many RS attest to that. However, newspapers and such aren't in the habit of printing "these shows aired yesterday: ..." so I guess I can't prove it actually aired. Is a source about the stunt itself sufficient for you or should I just choose a fact from the first episode pair (the only ones described in RS b/c they were the first shows)? --ThaddeusB (talk) 02:36, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Another hook from an earlier episode would be better. The stunt happened, but it's airing as part of the show is uncertain. Froggerlaura ribbit 02:48, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. I thus suggest ALT1: ... that on an episode of Nik Wallenda: Beyond Niagara tightrope walker Nik Wallenda (pictured) became the first person to perform the Wheel of Death on the top of a building?
- Looks okay now for ALT1 (event filmed in April 2011). Froggerlaura ribbit 03:24, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
