Dandy Dick Whittington
[edit]- ... that in Dandy Dick Whittington, Dick is a circus rider who goes to Siam to secure love and fortune?

- New enough, long enough. Accepted a couple of offline references in good faith. I have to note that the article could probably do with a few more citations in the second paragraph in the lead as there are several sentences which need references, so I don't feel able to tick it off just yet. - I have added another citation to that paragraph in the article; much of that content is taken from The Sketch 6 March 1895 pg 276 (see here for an image of the page for verification [1]). I could add a reference to every sentence from The Sketch but that would look cumbersome. Jack1956 (talk) 09:20, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
- Looks good - I can't view the new sources but accept them in good faith. One query - who thought Wright's impression of Lonnen was as good as the original? That does need a citation or clarification, as otherwise, it begs a "who did?" tag.
