Circuit des Champs de Bataille

[edit]
  • ...that the Circuit des Champs de Bataille, a stage race held across devastated northern France, Belgium and Luxemburg in spring 1919, has been described as the toughest cycle race in history?

  • Comment great little article. Added footnote to article to support DYK hook. Vesuvius Dogg (talk) 13:33, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks, Vesuvius Dogg. The supporting citation actually came at the end of the next but one sentence, but it's good to have the source made clearer. Cordless Larry (talk) 14:34, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
  • I might as well do the review, since I'm already invested in this fascinating and little-known episode (what a great movie this would make). New enough, long enough, good hook within character limits. No copyvio problems, neutral. QPQ done. Am working to remove the "orphan" tag by creating wikilinks on related pages, but we should be Good To Go ... Nice work and a good find. Vesuvius Dogg (talk) 15:42, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
