Chirlane McCray

[edit]

Chirlane McCray

  • ... that Chirlane McCray (pictured), who wrote the "groundbreaking" 1979 essay "I Am a Lesbian" for Essence, later married a man?

  • The article meets DYK criteria - new enough, long enough, reliably referenced, and no close paraphrasing. Both hooks are fine and verified, but I prefer the second hook because it mentions who the man is. The image is free use. SL93 (talk) 21:52, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
