Charles Cruft (showman)

[edit]

Charles Cruft, pictured in 1902

    • New hook, agreed on by reviewer and nom. Please put on special occasion for March 11, day of Cruft Best in Show.

  • Comment: Would be good for 11th March, as it'll be Crufts best in show day. Failing that, any point between the 8th and 11th as those are this year's show days.

  • Couple of alts:
    • I am going to start the review, but if you want it moved to March 8 for the reason stated why not: *... that Charles Cruft (pictured), the founder of the Cruft dog show, invented special train carriages to carry dogs to his shows?--Ishtar456 (talk) 02:49, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Expansion new enough, long enough, no image issues, citation to hook. But, do you want it moved to March 8, and do you want to re-word the hook? I think that you should state in the hook that he is the founder. I t would be more interesting.--Ishtar456 (talk) 19:47, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Yep, the new alt is fine, I've modified it slightly as I thought the "pictured" bit was making me expect an image of the dog show. 11th would be better for best in show, but 8th is the next best choice as the first day of the show. Miyagawa (talk) 20:23, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
