Overall: I enjoyed reading the article. There's something interesting about seeing several of the key episodes from the past few hundred years of Chinese history reflected in the story of the church. I've crossed out ALT1 because it does not quite match the article – the article only says that the clock wasn't found again, but doesn't clearly say what happened to the bells.
