Bob Albright
- ... that Bob Albright won his first primary election for the Alabama House of Representatives against a neighbor who lived on the same street as him? Source: The Montgomery Advertiser (1974): "Two candidates for the House District 20 seat in Huntsville are neighbors."
Created by Kafoxe (talk). Self-nominated at 20:29, 2 December 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Bob Albright; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Approved: article is long enough, new enough and generally in good shape, cited to what appear to be reliable sources. Hook is interesting, sourced and within parameters. Earwig flags up a few things, but all seem to be false positives based on sources using similar technical terms, official titles and so on. No concerns re. politics or biography of recently deceased people; a quick search around can find no major omissions. QPQ is done. I have taken the liberty of linking primary election in the hook. Nice work! UndercoverClassicist T·C 19:41, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- Might be a WP:SEAOFBLUE hook, but I believe hook fixers will look at it in the prep. I confirmed the hook in the article and the newspaper source. Bruxton (talk) 14:43, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
