Blastocyst

[edit]

Gustav Klimt's Danaë in 1907

  • ... that Gustav Klimt depicted detailed blastocysts in his painting Danae (pictured) long before blastocyst structure was common knowledge, puzzling art historians for over a hundred years?

5x expanded by NJSfour (talk), Wildcator (talk), Vicktory7 (talk). Nominated by NJSfour (talk) at 23:09, 7 December 2013 (UTC).

  • Article has been expanded from 5908 (on Nov 21) to 10453 characters, short of the 29,540 that would be needed for 5x expansion. Thingg 02:18, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Plus there seems no back-up for "puzzled" etc in the article. Johnbod (talk) 02:50, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
  • As of today, the article is even shorter after removal of WP:OR material, at 7264 characters, and the Clinical implications section has acquired a "refimprove" template. The article doesn't come close to qualifying as a 5x expansion, even if there weren't hook issues; its sole chance for qualifying at this point is to become a Good Article and be nominated within five days of achieving that status.
