Bernadett Szél

  • A few (relatively minor) concerns: I'd put "fellow member of parliament" in the hook to clarify the context. Also, is Illés a state secretary or a full minister?

Should probably place inline cite for quotation right after its use in article (instead of after a later sentence). Maybe use http://bbj.hu/politics/ministers-behaving-badly-illes-fidesz-apologize_69018 instead of the reference to politics.hu (an article, rather than a redirect on some website).

Statement about "advanced skills" comes from the biography at http://www.parlament.hu/kepv/eletrajz/hu/s136.pdf. I don't suppose there are alternative/additional sources that don't have a close connection with the subject?

Long and new enough. TheFeds 02:25, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your work and remarks: 1, Illés has been Secretary of State (Hungarian: államtitkár) for Environmental Protection and Water within the Ministry of Rural Development since 2010, so he was not a full minister. His immediate supervisor is minister Sándor Fazekas. 2, I put your proposed article after Illés' sentence, you're right it's maybe a better source than Politics.hu. 3, I found "advanced skills" information in only her biography ([1], [2] or the website of the Politics Can Be Different party. 4, I could accept your proposal, "fellow member of parliament" is a good choice. --Norden1990 (talk) 08:08, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Accepted: No need to worry too much about the "advanced skills" thing—it just sounded like something someone might put on a CV, banking on the fact that it's a little ambiguous and sounds good. (But maybe amending the article to merely say that she speaks those languages would be better.)

I wondered about Illés being a full minister, since that's what the BBJ reference had said...but I guess it's wrong (perhaps through a translation error). And since state secretary, secretary of state, minister of state and parliamentary secretary can all have similar meanings, choose whichever one you feel is most appropriate to refer to him, and maybe wikilink it.

I suppose the hook would look something like: ... that Hungarian secretary of state Zoltán Illés said to fellow member of parliament Bernadett Szél, "just because you're pretty doesn't also mean you're smart"? TheFeds 20:44, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Okay, your version (ALT1) is acceptable for me. --Norden1990 (talk) 22:00, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
