Battle of Azaz (1030)

[edit]

Created/expanded by Cplakidas (talk). Self nom at 15:55, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Length and newness fine. Hook 208 chars (including spaces). The hook sentence itself isn't referenced though. The para references are all offline works (which is fine) so have to take on faith. Can you give a reference for the hook itself? Secretlondon (talk) 19:37, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
The length of the hook is 168 characters, not 208. There is online software you can use for this purpose. Please check again your claim about references being all offline works.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:47, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
I accept 168 chars as word was counting markup - apologies. I can see that Sewter's complete text is available (it would have been friendlier to tell me which was available online rather than telling me to 'check my claim') Secretlondon (talk) 20:00, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
I can see that you've now edited the article to add a reference to the claim, which is available online and I've checked. I still wish you were less hostile. Secretlondon (talk) 20:05, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
I did not want to sound hostile. I was only insecure wheather you were right or not. English is not my native language and I was not sure what did you mean when you wrote "para references". I saw that you are admin and assumed that you might be right, so I wrote "Please check again your claim". I appologize if sounded hostile, which was not my intention at all.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:12, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry for taking it that way. Secretlondon (talk) 20:51, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks Antidiskriminator, for taking care of fixing the reference issue. Constantine 21:31, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
