Autonomous spaceport drone ship
[edit]- ... that a spaceport can now be a floating drone ship?
- ALT1:... that rockets can now land on an autonomous spaceport drone ship?
- ALT2:... that SpaceX has recently commissioned an autonomous spaceport drone ship for landing returning orbital booster rockets?
- ALT3:... that SpaceX just landed a rocket on an autonomous spaceport drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean? [this ALT3 would only be used after a successful landing; the first test flight landing is scheduled for no earlier than 16 Dec 2014]

- Comment: I took care of bolding and linking the article ... you've got to do that, remember. Daniel Case (talk) 06:46, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, and apparently free of any major policy issues; the article is neutral, well cited, and free of any copyright violations or close paraphrasing (aside from the titles of the Internet sources used as references, the only phrase that tripped the Duplication Detector is a sensibly short direct quote; clearly, none of these are actual copyright issues). All of the hooks (including the three alternates) are short enough and substantiated by references in the article (except for ALT3, which is contingent on a successful landing that cannot happen before December 16). They all seem interesting enough to me, although I find the main hook and ALT1 more striking than ALT2. QPQ doesn't apply as this is only the nominator's second DYK nomination. Nice work. All systems go! Michael Barera (talk) 03:19, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
