Arinn Young

5x expanded by Hawkeye7 (talk). Self nominated at 22:31, 17 July 2014 (UTC).

  • ALT1 ... that Arinn Young (pictured) was the youngest player on the Canadian team that won the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship? Edwardx (talk) 23:54, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
    • This meets DYK criteria and I verified the hook. The blog is an acceptable source because it was written by the subject. The image meets criteria. I did notice that the Alt is the same as the first hook. SL93 (talk) 04:57, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
ALT1 is the same, as someone else trimmed the main hook at the same time that I was posting the ALT. I'll strike it now. Edwardx (talk) 10:32, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
  • "Self-published or questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, especially in articles about themselves, without the requirement that they be published experts in the field." SL93 (talk) 23:23, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
  • I added another source which connects her and the gold medal explicitly. Restoring tick. Yoninah (talk) 10:46, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
