Anna Wolek
[edit]- ... that soap opera writer Agnes Nixon cast actress Doris Belack to play Anna Wolek on the first episode of One Life to Live in 1968, a character she played until 1977?
- ALT1:... that actress Doris Belack played Anna Wolek on the first episode of the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in 1968, a role she played for nine years?

- 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. However, the hook ref does not appear in the inline citation (footnote 3). The article also refers to Agnes Nixon as the "series creator", not "soap opera writer". These hook facts must be supported by inline citation(s) per Eligibility criteria - 3. Cited hook. Nominator has less than 5 DYK credits, so no QPQ needed. Yoninah (talk) 14:58, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- Writing soap operas is the main vocation of Agnes Nixon, as protege to Irna Phillips at The Guiding Light, head writer at Another World (TV series), and as the founding scriptwriter and creator of All My Children and One Life to Live. Calling Agnes Nixon a "soap opera writer" in itself can be taken as a factual statement. FrickFrack 21:23, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Now the article calls her the "head writer", but her name doesn't appear in the source given. Yoninah (talk) 22:44, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- The fourth cited article now added names Agnes Nixon as the series creator, the debut date, and names Doris Belack as a founding cast member. FrickFrack 10:34, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
