  • Hi Hawkeye7, review follows: article moved to mainspace 28 July and exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I found no issues with overly close paraphrasing from a spotcheck on sources I could access; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in the article and checks out to the source cited; image works OK, is used in article and is freely and appropriately licensed; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks good to me, another fine article on military logistics - Dumelow (talk) 05:32, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

      Sure. It is supported on Ruppenthal, p. 80: "Dukws had a rated capacity of only two and one half tons, although as in the case of the 2½-ton truck orders were given in mid-August to overload by 100 percent" Hawkeye7 (discuss) 06:49, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
      Fine by me, though, strictly speaking, shouldn't the term "duck" be mentioned in the article? Perhaps a footnote at first mention of the DUKW, describing what it is and mentioning the alternative name might work? - Dumelow (talk) 06:53, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
