Alberto Jorge

[edit]
  • ... that Alberto Jorge is the only manager to have won the Liga MX title as caretaker, doing so with Toluca in 2003? Source: "Only once since the establishing of short tournaments, an interim manager has managed to become champion of Mexican football, that is Alberto Jorge" ESPN (in Spanish)
    • ALT1:... that Alberto Jorge became champion of Liga MX as head coach of Toluca managing only four games as caretaker? Source: "The Argentine (Alberto Jorge) was the director of the club's Academy but he was lucky to become champion with only four games managed in First Division." ESPN (in Spanish)

  • Article is new, has more than 1,500 characters of readable prose, is stable, both hooks are interesting and cited, free of plagiarism (checked the Spanish-language sources for close paraphrasing), and no QPQ is needed because this is the nominator's first DYK (great job!). One thing before this is promoted: I added a few "Citation needed" tags to stand-alone paragraphs. Per DYK policy, every paragraph needs at least one citation. Please ping me here when this is taken care of. MX () 19:25, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
  • In addition, a few details in the infobox are mentioned but not cited elsewhere (like his DOB/POB, height, some of his appearances and goals, etc.) Please cite them in the body per WP:INFOBOXCITE. Thanks! MX () 19:29, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Nominator reached out to me at my talkpage to let me know that the inquiries were addressed. I've checked them and everything checks out. Article is good to go now. MX () 14:45, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
