Albert H. Densmore
[edit]- ... that Al Densmore was 24 years old when he took his seat in the Oregon House of Representatives and just four years later his House peers elected him speaker pro tempore? Source: Eugene Register-Guard article, 18 June 1978 (p. 11C) says: "He (referring to Densmore) won his first term as a state representative when he was 24…"; Oregon Legislators and Staff Guide for the 1975 session, identifies Densmore as speaker pro tempore, four years after he first took office in 1971.
