Ahmet Abakay

[edit]

Ahmet Abakay (right) with her mother (left)

  • ... that after 82 years of silence, the mother of journalist Ahmet Abakay (both pictured) revealed her Armenian identity to her son just weeks before she died?
  • Reviewed: Crenshaw (mixtape)
  • Comment: I also have a picture of Ahmet Abakay alone which is in PD as well. However, the current photograph suits the hook better.

  • New enough, long enough, and the reference checks out. However, I feel that the hook is a little too long, and it should be shortened into something more concise. The article's prose also feels a little stilted, but I think for this nomination that's a non-issue. --Sky Harbor (talk) 10:07, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
ALT1 ... that after 82 years of silence, the mother of journalist Ahmet Abakay (both pictured) revealed her Armenian identity just weeks before she died?
@Sky Harbor:, I added an ALT1. I removed the 'from her son' part. That might of caused a little confusion and I now have it shortened. Proudbolsahye (talk) 18:35, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
That's better. :) Now it's good to go. --Sky Harbor (talk) 05:40, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
