Acidilobus saccharovorans
[edit]- ... that Acidilobus saccharovorans was the first thermophilic, acidophilic, and obligately anaerobic archaeon to have its genome sequenced?
- ALT1:... that the extremophilic archaeon Acidilobus saccharovorans gets its name from its ability to consume sugars?
- ALT2:... that the extremophilic archaeon Acidilobus saccharovorans was discovered in hot springs in Kamchatka?

- Date, length and references are fine. All three hooks are supported by inline citations; all but one of the references are offline but parts of the hook facts can be verified by the article titles and abstracts. AGF for close paraphrasing since I cannot access the full text of the sources. QPQ is done. I don't have a preference for which hook is best; ALT2 might be the most interesting to lay readers but I suspect the original hook might appeal most to those with an interest in science. 97198 (talk) 15:03, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
