  • I added a couple of photos; one was already in WikiMedia the other showing the damage to Mission Santa Barbara is from Online Archive of California which has a bunch more images from the event. I also added a bit of text and a few additional references to the article. I saw another editor at work, adding project tags and so on. The page looks really good and I enjoyed reading it. And no, I didn't know that is why Santa Barbara is all Spanish Colonial Revival style !! Did you know that the dam which burst in this quake is the only dam in the U.S. to fail in an earthquake? It was one of those days !! Ellin Beltz (talk) 17:56, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
Great, thanks.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:23, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- New article (yesterday), 4000 characters is long enough, hook at 102 characters is short enough, no apparent copyright problems, hook is referenced (btw this could be better - closer to the hook statement rather than at the end of the paragraph, and maybe cite p. 1 of section 8 so it's easier to find). I changed "the earthquake" - which was quite vague - to "a 1925 earthquake" in the hook. An interesting article with multiple sources and no BLP or verifiability problems. I'll assume there's no photo going to be added and the nominator doesn't have five DYK credits (otherwise the QPQ - review needs to be done). Smallbones (talk) 03:18, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
