1919 English cricket season

[edit]

5x expanded by Harrias (talk). Self nominated at 15:12, 18 May 2013 (UTC).

  • Hook fact still isn't sourced. --Orlady (talk) 20:16, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Sorry for the delay, I'm trying to see if there is a direct reference for this. Harrias talk 09:20, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
  • No source for the hook, more than three weeks since DYK proposal. Suggest to nominator that in future proposals a citation is found before writing the article. Nothing more to add here. C679 19:40, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
  • It's odd; there are lots of indirect ways of referencing that hook, just nothing direct at all, which is annoying. Never mind. Try this hook instead:
  • "The hook fact(s) must be stated in the article, and must be immediately followed by an inline citation to a reliable source." This is still not the case with the ALT1 hook. C679 07:48, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Duplicated ref at the end of that sentence. Harrias talk 16:47, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
well in that case it's good to go. C679 21:05, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
That approval is for ALT1. For clarity, I struck the original hook. --Orlady (talk) 00:14, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
