Ћ

[edit]
  • ... that Ћ is an abbreviation for the word "the"?

Created/expanded by Matty.007 (talk). Self nominated at 16:18, 11 July 2013 (UTC).

  • Close paraphrasing - "Mathis created 'The Tap' as an abbreviation of the word 'The', as, despite being the most used word in the English language" in the article compared to "Paul Mathis has a problem - the amount of time we waste typing out THE, the most frequently used word in the English language." The third reference is an unreliable self-published website. The fourth reference goes to the website's home page. The fifth reference is an unreliable self-published website. The author is a professor and the website is connected to the University, but his part of the website is self-published. There is nothing to show that the professor is a noted person in his field. Close paraphrasing fixed, third and fourth refs removed, but the fifth ref is written for Brigham University by a Professor of Linguistics, which leads me to believe it should be kept. I hope this is all OK now. Matty.007 10:38, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Your fix of the close paraphrasing is fine because there isn't much that can be done to fix it. I will accept the Brigham University source. SL93 (talk) 11:55, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

We can't use this nom till Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ћ is over. --PFHLai (talk) 23:49, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

The AFD closed, with a redirect to Tshe. So, there is no article, and this nomination is moot. Chris857 (talk) 02:56, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
