Ústredňa Židov

  • ... that the Slovak Jewish Center was taken over by a resistance group, despite having been set up by the Nazis? Source: Nazis forcing the Jews to form the group, Fatran 1994, p. 165.; for the takeover, Fatran 1994, pp. 187–188.

  • @Catrìona and The Anome: I'm trying to review this article but I'm coming up against a question of eligibility. Looking at the edit history it was created on 1 October with material copied from Bratislava Working Group, virtually blanked on 9 November and then re-written. The two versions don't seem to be fundamentally different however. Apart from this, I also have a query in regards to Slovak Jewish Council. The term, while used in the hook, is not used in the article, only Jewish Council is used but, according to the intro, the translation for Ústredňa Židov is Jewish Center. Could you please shed some light on these two queries? Turismond (talk) 23:52, 17 November 2018 (UTC)
  • I may have found the answer to my first question. Was it moved to mainspace on 9 November, which would make it eligible? As to further reviewing the article, article and hook length, neutrality and QPQ are ok. No copyright violations found. Offline sources accepted in good faith. I'm struggling however to find was taken over by a resistance group, despite having been set up by the Nazis in the article (other than the intro), all I can find is effectively uniting the Working Group and the ÚŽ, which is unreferenced. Could a the article be amended to include a referenced version of the hook's statement? Turismond (talk) 01:15, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

@Vincent60030 and Turismond: Sorry for the late reply, I've been working on a related FAC (for Working Group). Different sources describe the appointment of Neumann to lead the UZ in slightly different words, so I've edited the article accordingly. It now reads, "the Working Group voted unanimously for Oskar Neumann, effectively taking over the ÚŽ." Two references are cited. Catrìona (talk) 08:34, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

  • Good to go now from my side, offline references accepted in good faith. Turismond (talk) 00:41, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
