Template:Contentious topics/Arab-Israeli talk notice/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template is used as a talk notice on pages related to the Arab–Israeli conflict which is a contentious topic. You can specify extra restrictions that have been placed on the page by an uninvolved administrator. This should be used over {{Contentious topics/page restriction editnotice}} or {{Contentious topics/editnotice}} for this topic area.

You should place the template at the top of the talk page, below the header (if used) but above all other templates.

The template places the page into Category:Wikipedia pages about contentious topics unless nocat=yes is included.

Anyone may place a contentious topics talk page notice,[1] but only administrators are allowed to place restrictions.[2]

The page it is placed on must be within the topic area of the arbitration case. Keep in mind that many topic areas are "broadly construed". Clarification of whether a page is in a topic area can be requested at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification and Amendment.
