Usage

The template was developed similar to {{Classical works row}}, first used in Carl Nielsen works. It was developed for the List of compositions by Peter Maxwell Davies.
Parameters

- All optional
- For dates and years, use {{start date}}
- For names to be sorted, use {{sortname}}
- For multiple values, use {{plainlist}}, {{flatlist}} or {{hlist}}
For this template:
|id=an anchor for the row|title=the name of the work|subtitle=the subtitle of the work, which appears below in the same column|detail=more detail to the title, such as a full title,or a description|key=key|scoring=the scoring if not implied in the name of the work|catalogue=catalogue number, for example opus number|year=a year or period of composition|genre=genre|description=description|text=information about the text, such as the title of a work or its author|reference=link to background information

Microformat
[edit]- Subtemplates
Date-of-publication ("published") information will only be included in the microformat if {{start date}} (or, where appropriate, {{start date and age}}) is used in a parent infobox/template. Do not, however, use {{start date}} or {{start date and age}} if a date before 1583 CE is involved.
Use {{duration}} to specify the duration/length of a recording. For instance, if the recording's duration is 3 minutes 45 seconds, use {{duration|m=3|s=45}} (which appears as: 3:45). If needed, |h= may be included to specify a number of hours.
Please do not remove instances of these subtemplates.
