Template:British-Museum-100/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template uses the standard succession boxes to create links to the previous or next artefact in the series A History of the World in 100 Objects and provide a link to the official BBC transcript of the relevant episode.

Usage

[edit]
{{British-Museum-100|<number>|before = <previous in sequence>|after = <next in sequence>}}

The parameters before and after are optional, but this template is pointless if neither is included. These parameters are the names of articles, square brackets around the article names are not needed. The values before and after may be set without using parameter names but this may be confusing for later editors.

If the link in before or after needs a different name to the target article title, then a pipe character can be embedded with the wiki-code {{!}}. Please consider creating a redirect page with the alternative name instead, this will help readers searching for the name used in the radio programme.

If <number> is not a number, then no result is shown.
