Usage

Alternative account policy
This template confirms that the user is familiar with Wikipedia policy on using multiple accounts and the account will not be used for sock puppetry.

This template is to be used on user or talk pages to show that the account is a legitimate alternative account for the use of AutoWikiBrowser to prevent edit count inflation.

Parameters

This template has a username parameter. This code:

Will produce:

This user is an alternative account for Example to make semi-automated edits using AutoWikiBroswer.
It is a legitimate alternative account and is used to make repetitive semi-automated edits in order to prevent inflation of the main account's edit count.
If this account is making suspicious edits, please contact Example to inform them that this account has been compromised.
To halt editing while actively doing an AWB job, edit the account's talk page. For other concerns or when the account is not actively editing, contact the operator here.
