Tatsuki Nara (奈良 竜樹, Nara Tatsuki) (born 19 September 1993) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a Centre-back for J1 League club Avispa Fukuoka.[1]

Career

[edit]

On 10 March 2012, he played against Júbilo Iwata, making him the first player born after the J.League opening day on May 15, 1993 to make a J.League appearance.[2]

On 28 December 2014, Nara was announced at FC Tokyo on loan.[3]

On 1 January 2016, Nara was announced at Kawasaki Frontale.[4] On 14 May 2016, he broke his tibia, meaning that he would be out for 4 months.[5] This meant that he would miss the 2016 Summer Olympics, so he worked on trying to come back in two months, rather than four.[6] He was not able to recover in time, and returned to playing in September 2016.[7] However, in October 2016, he injured his tibia again, and was out for the rest of the season.[8]

On 4 January 2020, Nara was announced at Kashima Antlers.[9]

On 18 January 2021, Nara joined Avispa Fukuoka on loan.[10]

On 17 December 2021, Nara was announced on a permanent transfer at Avispa Fukuoka.[11]

International career

[edit]

Nara was called up to the Japan U22 squad for the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship.

Nara was called up to the Japan U23 squad for the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship. Japan won the tournament, which qualified them for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
