Tantilla johnsoni, also known commonly as Johnson's centipede snake and la culebra centipedívora de Chiapas in Mexican Spanish, is a species of snake in the subfamily Colubrinae of the family Colubridae. The species is endemic to Mexico.[2]
Etymology[edit]
The specific name, johnsoni, is in honor of American zoologist Jerry Douglas Johnson.[3]
Geographic range[edit]
T. johnsoni is found in the Mexican state of Chiapas.[2]
Habitat[edit]
The preferred natural habitat of T. johnsoni is forest.[1]
Behavior[edit]
T. johnsoni is terrestrial.[1]
