K.N. Zinn

[edit]

K.N. Zinn! Excellent! I couldn't find the discoverers' name anywhere! Thanks, Inktea. Adambrowne666

Best body part, ever

[edit]

I'd like to nominate this article for single best name of a body part, ever.

I second the nomination! Adambrowne666 11:07, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I propose a new category: Category:Things with totally awesome names. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.142.22.125 (talkcontribs) 6 May 2007

I would nominate it but i think that it has been made up as a scam for the internet. Hezbolarki Fun Ship 14:23, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge

[edit]

Merge. Zonule of Zinn, the annular ligament of Zinn, the suspensory ligament of the lens, and the ciliary zonule refer to the same fibres. Hovea 14:38, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge I suppose, but I'd really love the main heading to be Zonule of Zinn, just because it's such a wonderful term - the others could be redirects? Adambrowne666 09:40, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Per the comments above, I am about to merge Zonule of Zinn and Zonular fibers, which has been proposed since Feb '07. For want of a better method of assessing the common name, I have chosen to merge to Zonule of Zinn based on Google search results: "Zonule of Zinn" -wikipedia (6,170) and "Zonular fibers" -wikipedia (3,430) --Lox (t,c) 15:29, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright Lox, There is no copyright violation in my contribution. I have been published in IOVS (Nov. 2006, an important peer reviewed ophthalmology journal, on the subject. I would expand on it but I am too busy undoing the deletions every time I come back. AnBeCa (talk) 03:31, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
