When I saw this article, a question came to mind. If her surname is Hickel and she was born in Anchorage, I would take that to mean that she is a descendant of Wally Hickel? Based on her age, I would assume her to be his great-granddaughter. Unfortunately, the only sources I could find were of the obsessive hockey fanboy bent, so I couldn't get an answer to that question. If anyone knows one way or the other, please let us know.
