Rewrite needed

[edit]

Hello again, I have to request that this article undergo a substantial rewrite, because the information is very disorganised, with insufficient context behind the events: I assume that it is a legacy of information being added quickly during the peak of the hyperinflation in 2008 and 2009, but now we have the time for a rewrite because the post-2019 Zimbabwean dollar now has their own article. In addition, there is an urgent need for reliable sources for the exchange rates during the hyperinflation: many of them are not referenced.

A full rewrite of this article is necessary to allow the Banknotes of Zimbabwe article to focus more on the banknotes issued between 1981 and 2009, as part of a plan to improve it to featured article status: I have recently (or will soon) merged some sections for having insufficient visual differences to be treated as a separate family of notes. I also have an idea to reframe Zimbabwean bond notes to a Banknotes of Zimbabwe article for post-2016 issues, but I currently have no draft to show, which leaves opportunity for feedback here. --Minoa (talk) 07:15, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be merged

[edit]

Given the fact that the Zimbabwe dollar from 2019 to this year is being demonetized; I think it should be merged with this article. 2601:5C5:4201:68B0:8D33:6C67:6107:2135 (talk) 20:36, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
