Mary Mother of Jesus as Prophet Scholars within the Zahiri School like Ibn Hazm have considered Mary, the Mother of Jesus as a Prophet. They base this off the fact that many names given to the prophets of Allah, are also given to her. However, this is a very fringe belief which are held by some extreme Kharijite as well as Wahhabis.Mary is nowhere in the Quran mentioned as a Prophet but is rather called the "best woman of the worlds".This minority opinion seems to not make sense as Maryam is in total shock when she is approached by the Angel Gibrael. If she was a Prophet, she would have already encounteted him before and thus this position is seen by some,as simply baseless and false. 82.0.104.218 (talk) 18:23, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. --allthefoxes (Talk) 19:28, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Zahiri

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Zahiri's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "omar":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 03:39, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
