... that Guyana MP Yvonne Fredericks-Pearson competed in archery at the Indigenous Heritage Games 2019? Source:Her parliament profile[1], Heritage Games[2]
ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)
Article is new enough (just), long enough, and without major issues. QPQ supplied. Hook within length and verified. (Personally, though, I think her political career beginning as a driver for the village chief has seems more interesting.) Some further comments, which are outside the scope of DYK: Mainstay/Whyaka is piped to Mainstay Lake, which seems less than ideal. It should probably be a redirect (tagged with {{r with possibilities}}), so that when and if an article directly about the village is created the links can be easily updated. I'd also mention, in the sentence about her election to the National Assembly, that she was a party list candidate, so that readers won't be left wondering why a constituency isn't mentioned. --Paul_012 (talk) 19:45, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
