Arabic fluency
[edit]I suspect that the article in its current state does not accurately describe Abu Dhaqn's fluency in Arabic, which it suggests was imperfect. It is difficult to believe that someone who grew up in Egypt did not speak fluent Arabic. This combined with the description quoted in the article suggests to me that he was fluent in the colloquial Egyptian Arabic of the time and that his deficiency was in not being well versed in Classical Arabic, to which, as a Copt, he would not have been exposed for religious studies. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can confirm or refute this.Bill (talk) 18:36, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
