Christmas in Denmark
[edit]Move back to Christmas in Denmark, as decided. Jul is Christmas. J 1982 (talk) 10:37, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. Christmas is a Christian celebration. Yule is not. Jul is a mix of the two traditions and celebrations. In many Danish homes, the celebration of Jul has no link to Christianity whatsoever. You can read more about it in the refs and sources supplied in the article. RhinoMind (talk) 19:47, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- I do recognize that it is inconvenient that the title contains two separate festivities, but I can't see how to solve the problem. "Christmas in Denmark" is too narrow a title to describe the concept of Jul. RhinoMind (talk) 19:49, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
