Yoshinoya in Singapore is also serving one of the best quality Japanese short grain rice.

Hi, just want to mention that yoshinoya also serve variaty of side dishes, drinks, and soup depends on region.(4/20/2007)

Dubious?

[edit]

I've lived in Japan since 2004, and while I don't specifically remember eating gyudon at Yoshinoya during that time, beef was still served widely everywhere - most places just switched to Australian beef during the American cattle ban. It also seems dubious to me that the article claims that beef was still served at Yoshinoya, just not in gyudon form. Additionally, the picture of the "gyudon line" doesn't even have a yoshinoya in it. I could be off-base here, but I suggest a citations needed tag.

Yoshinoya game?

[edit]

I was looking through the list of Playstation 1 games and I found Yoshinoya listed...?

If anybody has information about this i suggest posting it in a trivia section.

=> I believe the game is only sold in japan. No english version. However, gamespot has a description and review about it. If anyone play/own the game, they should write something in trivia section.

Yoshinoya restaurant near Port Authority Bus Terminal and Times Square, NY

[edit]

I noticed a Yoshinoya restaurant in that district in Manhattan a few days ago and I ate there today; food was decent; it was only when I picked up a brochure that I found that it was apparently the only one east of Nevada. I also noticed what appeared to be pro-Crips graffiti on the back of the men's room door, which was a bit weird but perhaps not unexpected (after all, Times Square is only a couple of dollars away from gangland by subway). 204.52.215.107 (talk) 04:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

--- Was Yoshinoya really founded in 1899? Seems strange because the historiy starts about 2000. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.227.136.131 (talk) 20:47, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orientalism?

[edit]

Why does it say "no pork served due to religious restrictions" for Malaysia? They don't serve pork in the U.S. either, presumably because it's primarily eaten in large American cities like New York with large Jewish and Muslim populations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.204.240.129 (talk) 00:11, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And even if that wasn't the case, don't the Yoshinoyas in Singapore and Indonesia ALSO not serve pork, for the same religious reasons as Malaysia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.204.240.129 (talk) 00:12, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spam?

[edit]

Does this "News" subsection kind of look like something put there by the company for good publicity? It just sounds that way to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.209.99.217 (talk) 17:47, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bad English

Sounds like it was written by a Japanese. Let's fix it — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.175.59 (talk) 05:34, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
