If anyone can provide a photograph of Yorkdale... plz add it to the infobox... Thanks, --Madchester 20:21, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I added the Yorkdale logo to the infobox. I have also provided other photos of the mall taken by myself.

Address

[edit]

I can't find the address of the mall in this article. I think that would be something important to include. According to MapQuest, the address is given as 3401 Dufferin Street, Toronto, ON M6A 2T9. Can anyone verify this so it can be included in the article. Elnauron (talk) 14:14, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added it to the infobox per Yorkdale Mall's website directions information. Mindmatrix 15:09, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian firsts

[edit]

I restored the Canadian firsts section under Retailers. This is a notable centre and is notable in the retailing realm in Canada. If there is an objection under "not a directory", it needs to be explained. Alaney2k (talk) 21:35, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Its called Yorkdale Mall not Yorkale shopping centre

[edit]

How old is this article...its not new. Yet none seems to care that its called Mall and not shopping center. A lot of people race to be the first to start a article. The person who started the article was probably not even from the Toronto area. Its not known as Yorkdale SHOPPING CENTRE, NO ONE calls it Yorkdale Shopping centre, its known and everyone calls it a mall.

The Toronto the term shopping centre is not used very much in formal names. A "shopping centre" when its used is something much smaller than a mall. Usually a grocery stores and some other store. Yordale is one of the biggest mall in Toronto. So may people finding news links and adding it yet every article that they reference calls it YORKDALE MALL Starbwoy (talk) 15:56, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
