Date of birth inconsistent with official documents.

[edit]

Information about Zelenko’s birthday is incorrect in the Wikipedia article (September 14, 1916), and does not correspond to official documents, which were published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2018.. Documents are available for viewing on the site: http://ko-dnu-vvs.mil.ru/

The date of birth written in this document is February 23, 1916. You can see this information in the upper right part of the sheet. http://ko-dnu-vvs.mil.ru/images/tild3138-3738-4366-a463-653763373535__photo.jpg

The date of birth indicated in them is February 23, 1916. You can see this information in the upper right part of the sheet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.21.60.4 (talk) 11:38, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This wiki article contains misinformation categories.

[edit]

Misinforming categories:

Categories that include the word “Ukrainian” in this wiki article are incorrect. Zelenko was born in the Russian Empire(1), had Soviet citizenship, her home address inscribed in her official documents is the city of Voronezh(2), Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Her service in the military unit stationed on the territory of the Ukrainian SSR does not turn her into a Ukrainian. Born in the Russian Empire, she became a Russian citizen, and after receiving a USSR passport she became Soviet but she was never Ukrainian, a woman, a pilot, aviator, etc. In her documents which contained such a date as ethnicity, it is written clearly - Russian(2). Below are two links to digital copies of documents published on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

(1) Line number 3 (place of birth) line number 5 (date of birth). http://ko-dnu-vvs.mil.ru/images/tild3138-3738-4366-a463-653763373535__photo.jpg

(2) Line number 2 (ethnicity), line number 9 (home adress) http://ko-dnu-vvs.mil.ru/images/tild3662-6534-4232-a236-623831373930__33-682524-447-30.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.21.60.4 (talk) 17:18, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@213.21.60.4: I fixed that categories. Thank you for putting your text here instead of the article itself.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 17:36, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fix Harv error

[edit]

While doing some CS1 maintenance I noticed a couple orphaned footnotes. I belive the following is the source they are pointing to but I can not verify it. Leaving this here for another editor to verify an dadd to the article.

deleting unconfirmed information

[edit]

@Lemonaka I ask you to undo your rollback of my edit: it was right to remove completely unsourced material in the article and that it is not standard to put a citation needed tag in the lede. And the formal basis for this was the submitted templates with requests from sources ("citation needed"). They were there for a sufficient time and the sources were never provided.Kursant504 (talk) 05:08, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also, even you didn't agree that I deleted the text that was not confirmed by the source, you were obliged by the rules to keep the "useful" part of my edit. Kursant504 (talk) 05:43, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It might be your responsibility to use WP:Edit summary to explain why you remove these material, not me. Anyway, I've reverted to the version you edited. -Lemonaka‎ 18:07, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, the content you removed was only tagged no longer than a month ago for more references. I still believe these contents can be checked through other sources -Lemonaka‎ 18:09, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
