Data need to be updated

[edit]

Hello

I am a contributor on wp.fr and I noticed that the number of speakers is not up to date, ethnologue.com has data from 2012 (https://www.ethnologue.com/language/mch).

  • 6,200 in Venezuela (Crevels 2012). Ethnic population: 8,000 (2011 census). Total users in all countries: 6,630.
  • 430 in Brazil (Crevels 2012). Ethnic population: 430 (Crevels 2012).

Also, it doesn't classify the language as "Moribund (8a)" in Brazil anymore, it is now "Vigorous (6a)" as in Venezuela.

I didn't made changes because I don't understand how your infoboxes work...

By the way, I changed the glottocode from maqu1239 (Maquiritari-Wayumara) to maqu1238 (Ye'kwana), as it is the code corresponding to the ISO 639-3 code mch.
