What in God's name does this sentence mean?

The Terminal for the airport was demolished and excavated on May 12th, 2024 by the Israeli Defense Forces as part of its advances into Rafah. [1] [2] Stinky1300 (talk) 00:00, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
