Contradictory ages
[edit]This post appears to give contradictory ages: the peninsula is less than 10,000 years old, yet a frozen mammoth found there was 10,000 years old -- older than the land it would have wandered on? This is probably a trivial result of inaccuracies in age measurements, or simply a disagreement between 2 groups of scientists or their methods. However, perhaps the article could be reworded to explain or remove the apparent discrepancy. Complex.confusion (talk) 18:00, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
craters
[edit]Does anyone know if more craters have started to appear in the past 2 years? Akuma809 (talk) 14:25, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
History to Geography
[edit]I changed the section name from "History" to "Geography". History is focused on human affairs, and the section talks mainly about natural resources and geological characteristics.
I removed also the description of a crash. If the accident didn't cause a change in the way of living in the area, it's not relevant.
